Pesto Bread
"A little pesto goes a long way, and is marvelous for these quick and tasty appetizers." Original recipe yield: 8 servings.
INGREDIENTS:
1 (7 ounce) container BUITONI® Refrigerated Pesto with Basil
1 French baguette, cut in half lengthwise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Sliced plum tomatoes (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
PREHEAT broiler.
SPREAD pesto over bread; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Top with tomatoes. Place on baking sheet.
BROIL for 1 to 2 minutes or until bread is crisp and cheese is melted. Cut into pieces.
