Cream Cheese Bread
"This rich yeast bread is excellent toasted and served with jam. It is a good base for making fruit bread or chocolate chip bread; just add 1/4 cup nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips after the first rise." Original recipe yield: 1 - 1 1/2 pound loaf.
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup milk
1 cup cream cheese, diced
1/4 cup margarine
1 egg
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
DIRECTIONS:
Place ingredients into the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select the White Bread and Light crust settings.
