Field Salad
"This easy salad recipe will thrill all of your guests! Field greens are not just for the home gardener anymore. Commercial mesclun, a mixture of young, crisp, greens, is becoming a year-round staple. Adorn this nice salad with fresh herbs and edible flowers for an extra special treat." Original recipe yield: 4 servings.
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces mixed salad greens
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
8 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
2 tart green apples, cored and diced
1/2 (8 ounce) bottle raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, combine salad greens, walnuts, cheese, and apples. Toss with raspberry vinaigrette, and serve.
