Tropical Salsa Burgers
"Reflections of the Caribbean top these burgers with a salsa sweet with pineapple, combined with the heat of red pepper and onion, in this mouth-watering topping." Original recipe yield: 2 servings.
INGREDIENTS:
2 BOCA Meatless All American Flame Grilled Burgers
1/2 cup drained canned pineapple tidbits
4 sliced green onions
1 plum tomato, chopped
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 split multigrain buns
Lettuce
DIRECTIONS:
MICROWAVE 2 BOCA Meatless All American Flame Grilled Burgers as directed on package.
MIX pineapple tidbits, green onions, 1plum tomato and crushed red pepper until well blended. Serve burgers in split multi-grain buns with lettuce and topped with pineapple mixture.
Special Extra:Add chopped fresh mango to pineapple salsa.Great Substitute:Substitute BOCA Meatless Original Chik'n Patties for the burgers.
