Tropical Salsa Burgers

"Reflections of the Caribbean top these burgers with a salsa sweet with pineapple, combined with the heat of red pepper and onion, in this mouth-watering topping."  Original recipe yield: 2 servings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 BOCA Meatless All American Flame Grilled Burgers
  • 1/2 cup drained canned pineapple tidbits
  • 4 sliced green onions
  • 1 plum tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 split multigrain buns
  • Lettuce

    DIRECTIONS:
  • MICROWAVE 2 BOCA Meatless All American Flame Grilled Burgers as directed on package.
  • MIX pineapple tidbits, green onions, 1plum tomato and crushed red pepper until well blended. Serve burgers in split multi-grain buns with lettuce and topped with pineapple mixture. Special Extra:Add chopped fresh mango to pineapple salsa.Great Substitute:Substitute BOCA Meatless Original Chik'n Patties for the burgers.
