Cran-Apple Couscous

"Good party or buffet dish."  Original recipe yield: 4 servings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (11.5 fl oz) can Apple KERNS® from LIBBY'S® All Nectar
  • 3/4 cup uncooked plain couscous
  • 1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

    DIRECTIONS:
  • PLACE nectar in small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cranberries, butter, cinnamon and allspice. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed; fluff with fork before serving.
